The 1ClickWebsite MCP server lets an AI agent that supports MCP (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and others) work with your account. The agent can create websites, run Lead Gen batches, and edit your finished V2 sites. You don't need a WordPress application password for each site.
Connect
Create an API key on the API Keys page. Then add the server to your agent:
https://www.1clickwebsite.ai/api/mcp
Send the key as Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY. The server uses Streamable HTTP.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http 1clickwebsite https://www.1clickwebsite.ai/api/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
Cursor (~/.cursor/mcp.json)
{
"mcpServers": {
"1clickwebsite": {
"url": "https://www.1clickwebsite.ai/api/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" }
}
}
}
Codex (~/.codex/config.toml, with the key in the ONECLICKWEBSITE_API_KEY environment variable)
[mcp_servers.1clickwebsite]
url = "https://www.1clickwebsite.ai/api/mcp"
bearer_token_env_var = "ONECLICKWEBSITE_API_KEY"
For any other agent, add the URL above as a remote (HTTP) MCP server with the Authorization header.
Apps that connect by signing in, such as claude.ai connectors or ChatGPT in developer mode, use the same URL with no key. You sign in to 1ClickWebsite and click Allow. These apps see three tools: get_tools lists a group (sites, Lead Gen or editing), and run_read_tool or run_change_tool runs one. Add ?tools=all to the URL to get every tool directly.

get_lead_gen_batch | A batch and each business's page link. |
update_lead_gen_batch | Changes a batch's default color, background or logo size. |

export_lead_gen_batch | The batch as CSV. |
Editing V2 sites
Your agent gets the same editing tools as the 1ClickWebsite website agent. They cover text and content fields, pages, posts and collections, SEO, design colors, forms, and media. Your agent should call site_guide before editing a site. It explains how the site is built and the rules for changing it.
Edits go live right away. Every edit returns a changeSetId, and rollback_change_set undoes it. list_snapshots and rollback_snapshot can restore earlier versions.
Access and credits
- An API key can only see and change sites on its own account.
- Creating a site or a Lead Gen batch uses the same credits as the dashboard and the API. Ask your agent to confirm the cost before it creates anything.
- Agency sites are not available through the MCP server yet.
- Anyone with your API key can edit your sites. Keep the key private, and revoke it on the API Keys page if it leaks.
